The Youth Ambassadors.

The Youth Ambassadors Program brings together high school students and adult mentors from across the Western Hemisphere to foster mutual understanding, develop leadership skills, and prepare young people to make a difference in their communities. Through in-person or virtual exchange programs, Youth Ambassadors participants will engage in experiential learning activities; leadership training; community-level civic engagement; mentorship from community, business, and NGO leaders; interaction with local host families; and volunteer work. Exchange subtopics include entrepreneurship, innovation, civic engagement, and digital literacy. The Youth Ambassadors Program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
