Outward Bound USA offers outdoor education programs, connecting with nature through expeditions in remote locations across the U.S. Motivated by allowing young people to explore their personal potential in these spaces, this project offers programs in local schools and neighborhoods for all ages. The “Classic Expeditions for Middle School Students” category is designed to connect with nature and strengthen self-confidence in students ages 12 to 14. Through the bond they build with instructors, this program fosters self-confidence and independence, among other skills. This category is an exciting introduction to Outward Bound’s full program.
